Various dings and dents. Most have been marked with a yellow paint marker that can be removed with a little acetone or alcohol.

Majority of the forgings are Cerro as opposed to the Anchor Harvey in the photo

P.S. Your mother told me to tell you to stay hydrated. She is worried that you're getting a little fat.

I couldn't find the dents or dings.  Looks nearly identical to the other receiver from Peacegeek.
Maybe a slight warble in machining under the forward assist.  But I've had non-blem uppers from other manufacturers with more flaws than this.  Overall I am happy and shipping was quick for being across country.  To my door in less than a week.  Thanks!

5 of 5 /k/ buys an Upper February 18, 2020

Nice Anodizing job inside and out couldnt really see any blemishes.. Mine even came with a free tumbler rock wedged inside of it..ill cherish it forever..anyway as far as fit is concerned it is very tight at the rear lug. Tried it on 2 forged milspec lowers . On the lowers it came to within 1/16th of closing all the way.. Some may see this as a problem but i am actually glad because this means i can hand fit it to a lower. Just take a file and remove material as needed then recoat. The 1913 rail is a bit different than on my other uppers. The actual rail is in spec, the edge of the rail is straight while my others are scalloped a little if that makes sense. I mounted my aimpoint CompM2 (my grandpa used it in 'Nam) and it locked up solid so no issue. Overall I would say its a hell of a deal on an upper and it even has the ZROdelta logo engraved so you dont look like a total cheapass. However if you arent prepared to do minor handfitting of the rear lug I would say pass.

1 of 5 Not just cosmetic blem February 7, 2020
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Seattle, WA United States
The one I received looks fine, but a number of dimensions are just a little bit off:

-With the front takedown pin engaged, the rear lug is a few thousandths to the left where it goes into the lower (rubs a little)
-the pic rail shape is a little bit off (clamp something on it and you'll see the shape is a little weird)
-The ejection port hinge holes seem to be a little bit too far athwartships (if you're looking axially along the barrel)

Technically, yes, it works...but it's just not right and I have to keep fiddling with it for other parts to fit right.  I have two BCM "blem" uppers I never had an issue with.

5 of 5 Quality product, must purchase January 23, 2020

I order this for an Aero precision lower an the machining fit perfect.  The tolerance on the upper is tighter than mil spec which I like bc it eliminates the play between the front an rear takedown pins when shooter is seeking precision accuracy.  Very pleased with the upper an highly recommend.
